Foundation in Law Malaysia: Where a Law Career Starts
Foundation in Law is the transition from school-level study into legal education. Designed for students who have completed SPM, O-Level or an equivalent qualification, the programme introduces the academic habits, legal concepts and communication skills needed for undergraduate law study.
Students begin with the legal system and method before exploring introductory areas such as Contract, Tort, Criminal and Constitutional Law. English, critical thinking and communication subjects develop the ability to read carefully, reason clearly and present ideas in an organised way.
Supporting business and commercial subjects broaden this foundation, helping students understand the wider contexts in which legal knowledge may be applied.
